Sheriff Bowler and staff help deliver Thanksgiving meals to community members in need.

The Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office Food Service Department helped provide meals to people in need during Thanksgiving.

Incarcerated individuals help prepare Thanksgiving meals for individuals in need.

With the assistance of the incarcerated kitchen workers, the office prepared just over a thousand pounds of turkey to feed around 500 to 600 people through the Christian Center in Pittsfield, and within the facility.

Sheriff Bowler said he is very proud to partner with the Christian Center in providing these meals to the community.

"Many within the community struggle daily and being able to provide them with a warm meal this holiday season lets them know there is someone here for them," Sheriff Bowler said.
