The Operational Services Division (OSD) invites local retail hardware stores to join Statewide Contract FAC119 Maintenance Repair and Operations Retail Products & Supplies. FAC119 provides public buyers—including Executive Departments, cities, towns, public schools, and housing authorities — the flexibility to shop at local hardware stores for a variety of materials and supplies and offers local businesses an opportunity to expand their customer base.

Bidding Requirements

To bid on the FAC119 contract, businesses must supply a minimum of three of the 13 product categories listed below, excluding miscellaneous items. Offering environmentally preferable options also is highly desirable.

  • Exterior and Interior Finish Supplies
  • Fasteners
  • Lighting, Ballast/Fixtures (excluding LED Roadway and Outdoor Area Lighting)
  • Material Handling
  • Outdoor Garden Supplies and Equipment
  • Paint and Accessories
  • Plumbing Supplies
  • Power Sources and Accessories
  • Power Tools (corded, cordless, and pneumatic)
  • Work and Safety Wear
  • Miscellaneous (no rentals, no fee-for-service)

Bidding Information

The FAC119 bid opportunity is available on the Commonwealth’s procurement platform, COMMBUYS. Detailed information may be found in the FAC119 Request for Response (RFR) document. To be eligible, businesses must have a Vendor Account in COMMBUYS.

Bid responses are reviewed quarterly by OSD’s Category Management Team.
