How can you recognize signs of psychological distress in your child? When, and how, can you seek help if you spot signs? The Boston Public Library and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) are delighted to host a panel of experts to answer your questions.
Join Kara McTague, LICSW, DMH Clinical Service Authorization Specialist; Maryanne Chow, DMH Case Manager and Intern with Clinical Service Authorization; Eileen Costello, Head of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center; Danelsi Rosario, Program Director at The Home for Little Wanders; and Curtis Chambers, Parent Support Specialist at Fathers’ Uplift for a Q&A about youth mental health.
The panel will be hosted on the Children's Library's Facebook page at 6 P.M. Wednesday, October 14: https://www.facebook.com/BPLchildren/
Please email Children's Librarian Rebecca Fox (firstname.lastname@example.org) by October 10 with questions that you would like the panelists to address. We will also welcome questions asked in Facebook Comments during the Facebook Live event.
