The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC) has posted a Request for Response (RFR) for procuring a Pharmacy Benefits Manager(s) to administer commercial and EGWP pharmacy benefits for GIC members beginning July 1, 2027. The RFR allows for bidders to bid on both the EGWP (Medicare) and Commercial (non-Medicare) combined or either benefit, individually.
It is seeking bidders with substantial experience in the management and provision of large-scale pharmacy benefits in coordination with medical insurance plans, including proven clinical, financial, and operational capabilities.
Bidders must be able to provide self-insured contract administration.
