Executive Assistant – Office Administration Position
Assigned to the Executive Department, this position provides first-line administrative, planning, and organizational support to the Executive Director, and also provides office management support to the agency. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and tact to interact with GIC Commissioners, senior administrators, key figures in local and state government, and GIC members. The fast-paced department environment requires this person to be able to perform duties under pressure and with strict deadlines.
Auditor (Benefits Specialist)
Assigned to the Operations Department, this position determines eligibility and processes insurance coverage documents ensuring that all applications are accurate, complete, and in compliance with GIC’s eligibility rules. This employee will serve as a customer service representative answering a high volume of phone calls concerning GIC benefits and premium billing and will manage those external interactions through GIC’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This employee must be detail-oriented, be able to multitask, and meet deadlines. Experience with employee benefit programs and billing processes is strongly preferred.
