The GIC is in the midst of a significant modernization effort that will transform the agency from a heavily paper-based operation to an on-line, future driven organization!

We are adding Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and electronic signature (eSign) tools through Salesforce and DocuSign. These new capabilities will impact the way GIC staff and GIC Coordinators interact when it comes to our members’ benefit changes and enrollments.

We are calling these new capabilities myGICLink, which is “Your link to exceptional member benefits!”

While change is always challenging, we know that in partnership with our GIC Coordinators, myGICLink will streamline the benefit enrollment and benefit change processes. New functionalities will include the ability to sign documents online, improved record management, and faster customer service and response times.

Over the next few months, GIC will finalize testing myGICLink and developing training and support tools. Our roll-out plan launches in early December with all GIC staff and a pilot group of 22 GIC Agencies and seven Municipalities, who will be notified in the coming weeks. After the pilot launch, the remaining Agencies will be launched in phases in early 2020.

All GIC Coordinators will receive regular communications through our centralized email box myGICLink@mass.gov to keep them informed about the impact and benefits of myGICLink, including the training and support tools that will prepare them for launch.

Watch for updates from this dedicated email address, and if you have questions, please send an email to myGICLink@mass.gov.

This is an exciting time and we thank you for your support and participation in this effort.
