BOSTON, MA — The Board of Bar Examiners today announced that it has entered into reciprocity agreements with seven jurisdictions for portability of scores earned on the Massachusetts Remotely-Administered Exam for Admission, to be administered October 5 and 6, 2020. With this, examinees will have the opportunity to seek bar admission in any of the jurisdictions agreeing to reciprocity if the score they achieve on this exam meets the score requirement for that jurisdiction. Massachusetts has entered into agreements for reciprocity with Connecticut, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Tennessee, Vermont, and Washington D.C.
The Board of Bar Examiners is continuing to work with a number of jurisdictions that will administer the same remote exam to expand this list of reciprocal jurisdictions. More information and the up-to-date list of reciprocal jurisdictions is available at www.mass.gov/bbe.
