Mosquito Control for the Twenty-First Century Task Force

The Mosquito Control for the Twenty-First Century Task Force (MCTF) is chaired by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), vice-chaired by the Department of Public Health (DPH), and consists of officials from state agencies, professional organizations, and academic institutions to study the Commonwealth’s mosquito control process and recommend comprehensive reforms of the current mosquito control system.

Overview

The Mosquito Control for the Twenty-First Century Task Force was created pursuant to Chapter 120 of the Acts of 2020. The task force concluded its work on March 31, 2022 upon filing of its recommendations with the Legislature, which can be found below.
