The Office of State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump (OSA) conducts audits, investigations, and studies to promote accountability and transparency, improve performance, and make government work better.
Who we serve
State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump serves as the chief accountability officer for Massachusetts state government and its residents, providing audits of state entities and contractors that assess their performance and recommend improvements. In addition, the OSA assists local and state government leaders to identify and address the impacts of unfunded mandates, and strengthens the Commonwealth's social safety net by identifying fraud in public benefits programs. The OSA has offices in Boston, Marlborough, Chicopee, and Brockton.
