Information for providers about the MassHealth PCDI initiative

On March 1, 2018, MassHealth introduced new health plans to its 1.2 million managed care eligible members. These plans emphasize care coordination and member-centric care that is provided by primary care providers (PCPs) and other providers who collaborate in groups that are known as accountable care organizations (ACOs). MassHealth continues to offer managed care organization (MCO) plans and the Primary Care Clinician (PCC) Plan.
