Altaf Mulla

Architect

Altaf Mulla is an architect, urban designer, and planner with over forty years of experience in both the public and private sectors.  Most recently, he served as a senior staff member in the Office of Planning, Design, and Construction at the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance.  In this role, he was responsible for campus planning, facilities assessments, and overseeing the architectural programming and design of major capital projects involving building modernization and new construction.  Higher education, public safety and long-term care uses, and the development of design guidelines have been the focus of many of his projects.

Mr. Mulla began his architectural education at the University of Nairobi in Kenya, and holds master's degrees in architecture and city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
