Michael Richard

Engineer

Michael Richard is a Massachusetts registered civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience in planning, programming, permitting, design, and construction-phase services for private, municipal, and public-agency facilities. He has led a wide range of project types, from vertical construction to solid waste facilities, with responsibilities that include planning, public outreach, design, and construction oversight.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Michael is a Vice President at Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc., and leads the Facilities Department, a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 engineers and architects. His department completes a wide range of projects, including schools, public works facilities, treatment facilities, and other public and private-sector facilities.
