Stephen O'Connor

Director of Project Delivery

Stephen O’Connor joined the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in 1987.

Over the years, Stephen has advanced through a variety of leadership roles from project engineer, project manager, deputy director and director. He has led multidisciplinary teams through complex capital projects while ensuring compliance with state regulations, budget guidelines, and sustainability goals. 

His work at DCAMM has included a wide variety of project types and delivery methods. This includes new construction and renovation for higher education, courts, correctional facilities, health and human services, and many other client agencies. Stephen has been involved with projects at nearly every community college and university campus in the Massachusetts higher education system.   

Stephen is a graduate of Stonehill College (B.A. Liberal Arts), the University of Notre Dame (B.S. Mechanical Engineering) and Northeastern University (M.S. Engineering).
