Refugee and Immigrant Employment Services (RES)

Supported by federal and state funds, RES programs offer a portfolio of services, including ESOL and VESOL instruction to ensure successful employment for recently arrived refugees and immigrants in Massachusetts.

Employment programs provide integrated, targeted services leading to pre- and post-employment clients aimed to long-term economic self-sufficiency. Comprehensive services include but are not limited to: (1) Outreach to pre-/post-employment clients; (2) Intake & Assessments; (3) Intensive Workplace Orientation for the American workplace; (4) digital literacy; (5) Literacy & ESOL instruction; (6) VESOL; (7) Job preparation & job readiness (resume writing, mock interviews, etc.); (8) On-the-job trainings; Job placement & retention services; (9) Job upgrade & education advancement; (10) Employment-related case management; (11) Specific Workshops on pre- and post-employment issues, and (12) Vocational Skills Trainings (VST).
