SafetyWorks Consultations are free and confidential, designed to help public- and private-sector employers identify and control potential hazards. Delivered by trained safety and health professionals from the Department of Labor Standards and funded in partnership with OSHA, the program helps small and medium-sized organizations improve safety practices, comply with regulations, and prevent injuries at no cost to employers.

At your request, and at no cost to you, a DLS consultant can visit your workplace and help you make it safer and healthier for workers. Complete the interest form and a representative will contact you.
SafteyWorks (previously called the On-Site Consultation Program) has helped employers avoid more than $18.5 million in workplace injury costs by reducing medical expenses, workers’ compensation premiums, and productivity losses. From 2012 to 2022, the program conducted 3,372 visits, identified 29,000+ serious hazards, and supported over 13,000 workers each year—preventing an average of 111 injuries annually. Nationwide, OSHA reports that an average of 22,970 private sector employers benefit from these services each year.
