Aging Services Access Points (ASAP)

ASAP's are private non-profit agencies with governing boards that serve and represent 51% of people age 60 and older.

ASAPs were established under Chapter 19A of Massachusetts General Laws and there are 25 ASAPs statewide.

ASAPs provide the following direct and protective services:

  • Information and referral
  • Interdisciplinary case management
  • Intake and assessment
  • Development and implementation of service plans
  • Monitoring of service plans
  • Reassessment of needs
  • Investigations of abuse and neglect of elders
