Learn about phases I - IV of the program development timeline.

Phase I – Completed

Phase I was completed in March 2018. During Phase I of program development we investigated the regulatory and policy landscape for the siting of early care and education facilities in Massachusetts. We met with potential partners, conducted key informant interviews, identified resources for site screening, and reviewed licensing and zoning regulations and policies.

Phase II – Active

We are actively working on Phase II of program development. During this phase we’ll be developing a program plan that lays out how the program will operate and the roles and responsibilities of partners.

Phase III – Pending

During Phase III we will implement a pilot program that tests the feasibility and scalability of the program plan.

Phase IV – Pending

During Phase IV we will scale up the program state-wide.
