Job Driven Skills Training
MRC has partnered with employers to create job driven training programs to train and employ MRC consumers. These programs provide consumers with the skills and experience to develop a career path. To date, MRC has developed job driven trainings with CVS Health, Advance Auto Parts, Home Depot, G4S, Allied Barton Universal Security, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, CISCO Cybersecurity Training and Lowe's.
On-The-Job Training and Evaluation (OJT /OJE)
The OJT / OJE program gives employers incentives to hire people with disabilities and to create a more diverse workforce. People with disabilities receive training and skills for career development, while being paid.
Annual Hiring Event
The MRC Federal Hiring Event, in partnership with US Office of Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP), provides consumers/candidates with access to jobs and connects federal contractors with access to qualified applicants. Candidates may also interview for open competitive positions across the Commonwealth.
Account Management System
MRC staff maintain business relationships with employers at the local, regional and statewide level to develop and secure jobs for qualified MRC consumers that are ready, willing, and able to work.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy has launched a free nationwide employer service to increase the representation of people with disabilities in the workforce. The Employer Assistance Referral Network (EARN) was implemented on March 1, 2001 and is designed to assist employers in locating and recruiting qualified workers with disabilities. The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is an international toll-free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with disabilities. JAN is not a job placement service but provides information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
