Additional Fees May Apply: Depending on where you purchase your license, additional fees may apply.

  • At a MassWildlife office: There are no additional fees for licenses purchased at offices of the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, where only cash or checks are accepted. Find a MassWildlife office near you.
  • Online using MassFishHunt: All online purchases include a $1.34 service fee per license, plus a 3% internet handling charge on the total transaction. Buy licenses online using MassFishHunt.
  • From an authorized license agent: City and town clerks must add an additional $1.00; other sales agents may add up to an additional $1.50 fee to the price of each license sold.
