MassDEP State Implementation Plan (SIP) Steering Committee

This stakeholder group provides input to MassDEP on clean air and climate protection regulations, policies and programs.

This Committee was formed to help MassDEP comply with federal Clean Air Act requirements for public participation in the development Massachusetts State Implementation Plan for meeting National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Members include representatives of municipalities, regional planning organizations, environmental advocacy groups, businesses, consulting firms, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). SIP Steering Committee meetings are scheduled on an “as needed” basis.
