Public Housing Tenant Survey

Public Housing tenant satisfaction survey results.

Between 2016 and 2018 DHCD conducted its initial tenant satisfaction survey for residents of state-aided public housing.  A second round of surveys were begun in 2019 and are expected to be completed in 2022.

Below is a high-level, state-wide report of the 2016-2018 survey results for all state programs (elderly/disabled and family) combined, and a separate state-wide report for only the state family public housing units.  For survey data limited to a specific housing authority, please refer to their Annual Plan, which will have the survey attached near the end and which can be found hereLHA Annual Plan

For more information about the Tenant Satisfaction Survey, including sampling methodology, design, and administration, you may review Public Housing Notice 2016-08, or see the description included with the survey in any LHA Annual Plan.
