  • 6,404 total males in the jurisdiction population: 5,769 criminally sentenced, 40 pre-trial detainees, and 595 civil commitments 
  • Average age of inmate was 44 years old (youngest inmate was 18 years old and oldest inmate was 88 years old)
  • 98% were serving a sentence of more than three years 
  • 79% had a violent governing offense 
  • 347 were serving a governing mandatory drug sentence
