Title V - Requesting Your Comments

We welcome your comments about the needs of and services for families, women, infants, children, and adolescents, including children and youth with special health care needs.

Your feedback helps us plan and evaluate programs, and informs our annual application for Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant funding from the federal government. Your opinions — whether you are a parent, grandparent, young person, health provider, advocate, teacher, civil servant, or other role — are important to improving the health of children, youth, and families.

We encourage you to review the 2020 Executive Summary of Title V, Maternal and Child Health Block Grant (DOCX) of our annual application, and send an email to with your feedback. Some questions to think about include:

  • How satisfied are you with services for pregnant women, infants, children, and youth, including children and youth with special health needs, in Massachusetts?
  • What are the most important health issues for you or people in your community?
  • What do you think the Department of Public Health should do to address the Title V priorities?
  • How can we better engage with families, including fathers and youth, in our work?
