Victim notification

If you are a victim of a sex crime, you can enroll to receive notifications about the offender after they are convicted.

When you are notified

We offer many Victim Inclusion services to victims of sex crimes. One of those services is victim notification. If you enroll in our victim notification service, you will be notified:

• When the offender's classification process begins

• If the offender requests a hearing to challenge his or her classification level

• When the Board finalizes the offender's classification level

• If the offender's classification level changes as a result of a court order

• If the Board moves to reclassify the offender to a higher level

• If the offender requests to lower his or her classification level

• If the offender no longer has to register
