Snow and Ice Vendor Information

MassDOT hires vendors every year to spread de-icing materials and to remove snow from our roads.

If you would like to become a vendor for our winter operations, you need to submit all required information to a District office. Each District assigns equipment based on the needs of each depot and area. Most Districts need equipment that is of significant size to be effective. MassDOT also prefers larger snow plows for the interstate highways.
