How to Get a Free Email Address
To create an account in MyMassGov, you will need an email address.
There are different companies that offer free email addresses. Popular options include Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Outlook.
After choosing an email provider, go to their website and select ‘Create account’
You will be asked to provide some information. This may be your first and last name, date of birth, a unique email address, and a strong password.
Some services may ask you to enter your phone number to make sure you have access to that phone.
You may receive a code. Type it in to the application to confirm.
For extra security, it is recommended to add a recovery email address or security questions.
Review the terms and conditions, then select ‘Agree’ to complete your setup.
Your new email account is ready to use.
