transcript  Interview with Aaron Leon

Aaron Leon: How's it going everybody? My name's Aaron Leon. I work at the Trial Court as the Graphic Designer and Video Editor, and I designed the Cultural Appreciation Week logo this year.

The theme was Access and Justice: We Stand Together. So when I designed it, I was looking at how this would come together because we have three parts to it, we have access, justice, and unity, which is that last part of it. And I was trying to figure out a way that I could get them all together in one image without having three separate elements. So we have access, which is everybody being able to partake in a specific thing. We have justice, which is the scales and everybody reaching for it. And then we have, we stand together, which is unity, and that's just everybody collectively holding it up together. So when I put this all together, um, that's what, that's what it ends up being.

Uh, it was drawn out. I drew it out through, um, my iPad, which is not something I ever really do. I just figured this year it might be cool to try something different. And uh, and that's how we got to it.
