I'm Mi Lee, student intern with next gen south region,
covering Braintree and Roxbury offices.
As my title suggests, I'm a current student at Umass Boston
while interning with NextGen as a career counselor.
before stepping into career counseling, I took a long break
from the working world; it took courage to dive back in,
but I was fortunate to have someone as my biggest advocate
encouraging me through my grad school application,
and supporting me even last night when I prepared this video.
Her unwavering support, belief in me has been a driving force
and I hope to be the same source of for NextGen.
At next gen every voice, story, interest,
belief, and experience- small and big- matters.
whether you come with clear vision for your future, or still figuring
things out this is a space where we can discuss, share,
listen and explore. I'm passionate about movement and well-being,
I practice Pilates and bar almost every day, and one of my dreams
is to open an accessible and Inclusive fitness studio
where everyone can enjoy exercise safely and confidently.
I believe with the right support and environment,
everyone deserves a space to thrive, both in
career journey and personal well-being.
