Water Supply Protection Spotlight: Watershed Education

The Division of Water Supply Protection offers free education programs to schools. These programs focus on the importance of protecting public drinking water supplies, wildlife, and the history of the watersheds. Programs are offered by Interpretive Services at the Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs.

Community Programs

Wachusett and Sudbury Community Programs 

DCR staff at Wachusett Reservoir offer a variety of programs for both school children and the general public.  These programs can be in school, indoors at DCR facilities, or outside around the Wachusett and Sudbury Reservoirs. For more information contact kathryn.parent@mass.gov.

Quabbin Reservoir and Ware River Community Programs 

The Les and Terry Campbell Visitor Center at Quabbin Reservoir offer a variety of programs for both school children and the general public.  These programs can be in school, at the Visitor Center, outside, or remote. For more information contact QuabbinVisitor.Center@mass.gov.

Watershed Educational Videos 

The DCR YouTube channel features a number of short videos and presentations focused on watershed management, wildlife, and the region's history.
