Water Supply Protection Spotlight: DCR DWSP New Public Access Maps!

Plan your visit to DCR Division of Water Supply Protection (DWSP) watersheds with these new interactive maps. Check out trails, fishing, hunting – all public access for more than 135,000 acres of protected land and water across the Quabbin, Ware River, Wachusett and Sudbury watersheds.

It's Fishing Season!

Find Detailed Fishing Information in the New Fishing Map.

Opening day for 2024 Wachusett Reservoir fishing is April 6 and ends on Dec. 31. Anglers are reminded that access to DCR property is limited to one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.

The 2024 Quabbin Fishing Season will open, weather permitting, on April 20, and closes on October 19.
