For Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, 2024 was all about lowering costs, growing our economy, and making Massachusetts the best place to live, work, and learn.
In 2024, Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll’s billion-dollar tax cuts for families, seniors, businesses and renters. Governor Healey also signed the Affordable Homes Act into law, a historic housing bill that will bring down rents and home prices across Massachusetts.
Governor Healey signed the Mass Leads Act to lengthen Massachusetts’ lead in life sciences and cement our state as a global hub of ClimateTech and artificial intelligence. The Healey-Driscoll Administration took significant steps to fix roads, bridges, and public transportation infrastructure.
Building on MassReconnect, Governor Healey made tuition- and fee-free community college a reality for students of every age. From preschool to university, job training and beyond, the Healey-Driscoll Administration invested in what makes families want to live, work and learn in Massachusetts.
