Allston Multimodal Project

MassDOT is progressing the design to replace the I-90 viaduct in Allston.

The project will dramatically improve livability and connectivity for residents of the Allston neighborhood. It will preserve and enhance regional mobility through improvements to I-90 and its abutting interchange.

The project is currently preparing for the joint state and federal environmental filing documents. This process will continue into 2026.
