The Commission dismissed the appeal of a five-day suspension from a West Springfield Police Captain, on the grounds that the appeal did not include the filing fee and was late when it was mailed to HRD, not to the Commission.
The Commission upheld the one-day suspension of a Wareham Police Officer who engaged in rude and discourteous verbal behavior toward a superior officer and the Wareham Assistant Town Administrator and who also had a history of reprimands for prior discourteous behavior toward his superior officers and the public.
