The Commission dismissed the bypass appeal of a candidate for Boston police officer as the candidate was bypassed for the same reasons in prior hiring cycles and the Commission recently issued a decision affirming those bypasses.
The Commission concluded it did not have jurisdiction of a State Police trooper’s appeal of a forfeiture of five days of accrued time off where the trooper was able to use accrued time that he originally had panned on forfeiting through the “use it or lose it” policy in order to satisfy the imposed penalty.
The Commission dismissed the appeal of a Pembroke Police Lieutenant as the Town has complied with the civil service law and rules pertaining to provisional promotions.
