Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation  

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation protects and empowers consumers through advocacy and education, and ensures a fair playing field for the Massachusetts businesses its agencies regulate.

Office of Fishing and Boating Access  

OFBA provides boat and canoe access sites, shore fishing areas, and sport fishing piers at more than 300 locations on coastal waters, great ponds, and rivers throughout Massachusetts.

Office of Grants and Research  

The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) promotes public safety and security in Massachusetts communities through the management of grants funds and research programs focused on crime prevention and intervention, traffic safety and homeland security initiatives. OGR manages more than $279 million in state and federal grants that are distributed to state, municipal, tribal and nonprofit agencies across the Commonwealth.

Office of Jury Commissioner  

The OJC provides randomly selected pools of jurors, representative of the communities from which they are drawn, to each of the state's Trial Jury and Grand Jury courts.

Office of Municipal and School Technology  

The Office of Municipal and School Technology (OMST) supports local government efforts to effectively serve their residents, students, and employees with the use of technology. It serves local government agencies, which include cities, towns, public school districts, public safety, municipal utility departments, counties, and planning commissions, across the Commonwealth. OMST provides guidance and technical assistance to position them and their communities with successful technology initiatives, and implementation, promoting state resources that may improve local government operations, and administering and providing information about available IT and security grant opportunities.

Office of Public Safety and Inspections  

Promotes safety in design, construction, installation, inspection, operation, repair and alteration of elevators, buildings, amusement and tramway devices and includes oversight of Massachusetts Building Code.

Office of Security and Operations  

Supporting Commonwealth end users and IT support personnel across the state, managing software, hardware, voice, and connectivity support.

Office of Technical Assistance and Technology (OTA)  

The Office of Technical Assistance and Technology (OTA) is a non-regulatory agency within the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. OTA provides free, confidential technical assistance with pollution prevention and resource conservation to Massachusetts manufacturers, businesses, and institutions.

The Attorney General is the chief lawyer and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Office of the Bar Counsel  

Investigates and evaluates complaints against lawyers.
