DCR Watershed Water Quality

Find information on water quality in the source drinking water supply watersheds for 3.1 million Massachusetts residents.

DCR's Division of Water Supply Protection continuously monitors water quality in the Quabbin Reservoir, Ware River, and Wachusett Reservoir watersheds - the source drinking water supply that is treated and distributed by the MA Water Resources Authority to 3.1 million people. The data collected helps DCR meet its mission to "assure the availability of pure water for future generations."
