Matter involved violations of the state's laws and regulations govenring the sanitary harvest and handling of shellfish necessary to safeguard public health. This included: (1) harvest, transport, and sale of shellfish from a shellfish growing area closed to shellfish fishing; (2) possession and sale of shellfish without a shellfish transaction card in possession; (3) possession, transport, and sale of shellfish without a accurate and complete shellfish harvest tag on each container of shellfish; and (4) falsifying information on shellfish harvester tags. Final Agency Action resulted in the three-year suspension of Hendrick's Commercial Shellfish Permit and Transaction Card and a three-year probationary period upon reinstatement.
