Overview

A Public Informational Meeting will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed project in Acton, MA.

Purpose

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal

The proposed project consists of traffic safety intersection upgrades to Route 2 and Route 111 Interchange. The meeting discussion will include new traffic signals, roadway geometry, turning lanes, pavement markings, and signs as identified through a road safety audit process in the Town of Acton. Bicycle and pedestrian accommodation will also be included with the use of a 10-foot wide shared-use path across Route 2 between Piper and Taylor Road.

This meeting location is accessible to people with disabilities.
