Public Meeting Notice  Athol - Bridge Replacement, Route 2A/Main Street over G&W Railroad

A Virtual Public Informational Meeting will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to present the design for the proposed project in Athol, MA.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project.  All views and comments submitted in response to the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal:

The proposed project consists of a full bridge replacement to meet current standards, increase horizontal clearance from the existing railroad tracks, and provide bicycle accommodations consisting of (2) 5’ bicycle lanes in accordance with applicable design guides.

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities.
