Overview of Autumn Equinox Sunset Walk at Wachusett Reservoir (Gate 39) 9/21/2024

Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 39 North Dike, Rt 110 Clinton. Parking at the intersection of South Meadow Road and Route110, Clinton.
Enjoy the season on this walk with stunning views overlooking the 65-billion-gallon Wachusett Reservoir. We will start before sunset to view the changing colorful sky over the water. Two-mile round trip is on flat paths with an optional hill to the base of Wachusett Dam.
Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.
Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.
Hike will be a slow pace and last about 1.5 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 617-352-4044 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
