Help shape nation-leading biodiversity conservation goals for the Commonwealth!

In 2023, Governor Healey made history by signing Executive Order No. 618. This directs the Department of Fish & Game to develop biodiversity conservation goals for 2030, 2040, and 2050.

You are a key part of this effort. Join us for two virtual public listening sessions to learn more and share your thoughts. You’ll be invited to raise your hand and offer feedback. Participants will have 2-3 minutes each to speak. The listening sessions will be recorded and posted online at mass.gov/biodiversity.

We also welcome written feedback! These sessions will kick off a month-long public input period. Following the meetings, you'll be able to share written feedback online at mass.gov/biodiversity. Feedback should be submitted by August 30, 2024.

The Department of Fish & Game is committed to providing equitable access to information, public processes, resources, and programs to ensure all have the opportunity to meaningfully engage with our work and all voices are heard. Live interpretation will be available in 中文, Kreyòl Ayisyen, Português, Español, and Tiếng Việt. American Sign Language (ASL) and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning will be provided. To request additional accommodations, contact EJ Liaison Conrad Crawford at conrad.r.crawford@mass.gov.
