Overview   of Boston - I-90 Allston Viaduct Repairs Project in Allston

Meeting's focus to be centered on existing viaduct repairs; not the larger multi-modal project.

This meeting was originally scheduled on August 17.

MassDOT is hosting a Virtual Public Information Meeting to present the design for the proposed I-90 Viaduct Repairs Project in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. Community members, business leaders, and other key stakeholders planning to attend should be aware that the meeting's focus is solely on the existing elevated segment of I-90 through Allston and not the larger multi-modal project. All views and comments submitted in response to the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

The existing I-90 Allston Viaduct, which carries the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) over the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail’s Worcester Line and through the Allston/Brighton area, needs repairs to ensure the safe movement of traffic as MassDOT completes design and permitting for the larger, I-90 Allston Multimodal Project.

All residents, abutters, local business owners, and interested commuters are invited to attend. All attendees who sign into the meeting and provide an email address will be entered into the project’s email database to receive project updates. Prior to the meetings, if you have specific questions or concerns for the project team, please email us: Dot.feedback.highway@state.ma.us
