Public Meeting Notice  Boston - West Roxbury Parkway Bridge Replacement pre-closure public information meeting

What is happening:

Work is underway to replace the West Roxbury Parkway Bridge and make improvements to the Belgrade Avenue intersection in Boston’s West Roxbury neighborhood. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public about the full bridge closure that is scheduled to take place from July to December of 2026. 

How will this affect you:

Accelerated Bridge Construction methods will be used to remove and replace the bridge during the full closure. West Roxbury Parkway between the intersection at Belgrade Avenue and the Holy Name rotary on Centre Street will be closed from July 20, 2026, until early December 2026. Periodic weekend shutdowns of the MBTA Commuter Rail Needham Line will occur during the closure. The presentation will provide further details on this operation, as well as a general project update.
