Overview of Digital Accessibility and Equity Governance Board Meeting (Oct. 26, 2023)
The Digital Accessibility and Equity Governance Board will meet for the first time on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.
Created on July 26, 2023, the 33rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, this board aims to strengthen and advance digital accessibility and equity within the Commonwealth.
The board will meet quarterly to discuss topics that include:

Improving digital accessibility and equity standards

Promoting best practices for digital accessibility and equity

Developing procurement policies to promote digital accessibility and equity

Considering federal funding opportunities for digital accessibility and equity priorities
Accessibility accommodations
The Digital Accessibility and Equity Governance Board does not discriminate on the basis of disability and commits to providing accessible programs, meetings, and events. We have arranged for ASL interpretation and CART services for this meeting.
