DTC joins the Methuen Senior Activity Center’s Resource & Wellness Fair

The Department of Telecommunications and Cable’s (DTC) Consumer Division will participate in the Methuen Senior Activity Center’s Resource & Wellness Fair, providing attendees with helpful information and resources on a variety of telecommunications and cable-related topics. Staff will be available to discuss consumer rights and protections for telephone and cable subscribers, affordable communications options including the federal Lifeline Program and low-cost internet programs, emerging technology transitions, and practical ways to identify and reduce unwanted robocalls and spam text messages. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak directly with DTC staff, ask questions, and learn more about the Department’s role in assisting and protecting Massachusetts consumers.
