Overview

The Department of Telecommunications and Cable's (DTC) Consumer Division will participate in the Merrimack Valley Stand Down 2026 hosted by the New England Center and Home for Veterans.

Consumer Division staff will provide a variety of educational materials and resources, including information about consumer protections for telephone and cable subscribers, the Lifeline Program for discounted communications services, low-cost internet programs, technology transitions, and tips for reducing robocalls and spam text messages. Staff will also be available to answer veterans' questions about telecommunications and cable services, explain available consumer protections, and connect them with resources that may help them make informed communications decisions.
