Overview   of Fall River Business Event: Grow Your Business through Public Contracting

The City of Fall River and the Operational Services Division – the state agency that manages the Commonwealth’s Statewide Contracts – are pleased to host an event for local businesses to learn about working with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Five Reasons You Should Attend

  1. Get registered in COMMBUYS, the state’s purchasing and procurement system, and learn to locate state bidding opportunities. (Bring your Tax ID number with you)
  2. Attend a COMMBUYS Training Workshop where we will cover how to market your business to the state and the public buyer. Workshops will run for 30 minutes starting at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  3. Meet with an OSD Strategic Sourcing Manager to discuss upcoming Statewide Contract opportunities
  4. Speak with representatives from the state’s Supplier Diversity Office to learn about broadening your business opportunities as a certified diverse and/or small business
  5. Meet with Chamber of Commerce representatives to learn about available programs and ways to market your business
