FY25 Wachusett Reservoir Watershed Forest Management Proposals

The Department of Conservation and Recreation will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in John Augustus Hall (DCR Wachusett Reservoir Field Headquarters), 180 Beaman Street, West Boylston, Ma. 01583. The purpose of this public meeting is for DCR staff to present FY25 proposals for forest management on certain parcels within the Wachusett Reservoir watershed.  

The public will be invited to ask questions and provide comments during the meeting, after the presentation. 

DCR encourages the public to review the projects at any time using our new interactive mapping application which can be accessed at DCR’s Forestry Projects website. 

The public is welcome to share additional feedback, with a deadline for receipt of comments by DCR of October 31, 2024. Comments may be submitted via the DCR public comment portal, which can also be accessed from the interactive map. Please note that the content of comments you submit to DCR, along with your name, town, and zip code, will be posted on DCR’s website. Additional contact information required when commenting, notably email address, will only be used for outreach on future updates on the subject project or property.
