Public Meeting Notice Greenfield – I-91 over Route 2 Rotary Bridge preservation
Overview
A Virtual Public Information Meeting will be hosted on the MassDOT website to present the design for the proposed project in Greenfield, MA.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments submitted in response to the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
Proposal:
The proposed project consists of replacing four bridge decks on Bridge No.'s G-12-059 and G-12-060. The existing bridges, constructed in 1965 (G-12-059) and 1966 (G-12-060), are exhibiting areas of steel beam deterioration. Deck replacements will be constructed to extend the service life of these bridges. Construction is anticipated to last from 2029 to 2032.
