Halloween Luminary Walk (Sterling Rail Trail) 10/26/24

Meet at Mass Central Rail Trail - Sterling Spur, 25 Gates Road, Sterling. About 1 mile round trip. 

Take a spooky lantern stroll and hear scary stories, listen for wildlife, and enjoy the scents and sounds of autumn. Dress in costume for this slow paced easy one-mile walk. We will start at sunset and return in darkness with lanterns guiding our way.  Glow sticks will be provided to warn the Will-o’-the Wisp away!

Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands. Service and medical support animals, when acting within their service capacity, are welcome.  

Hike will be a slow pace and last about 1.5 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
